How Can I Get Involved
We welcome contributions by all relations. But, to help assure the integrity of the data, we do qualify and let you earn the trust. Just because you are a blood relation does not mean you have the best intentions in mind for all of your relatives, correct? So if you want access beyond just the dead, historical information available to the public then read further. So if you want to get started,

ContactUs to increase your access level.
There are classes of users with login that can see living relatives and possibly edit the genealogy tree and moderate the forums. Additionally, there are settings within each user such as the family steps allowed. Each are covered in the following pages.
Purveyors
Those relatives looking purely for view access into the genealogy tree of those living relatives close to them. They get read access to family members in the genealogy tree within a certain number of steps of them — both living and dead. As appropriate, they may get access to certain forums managed by cousins in that family area as well.
Taggers
These are our genealogy researchers. The heart and core of our site. Those family members who are driven by the desire to learn more about their ancestors and living distant relations. To capture the history of their family for their benefit and the benefit of their offspring. Taggers get edit rights into their portion of the family genealogy database and likely become moderators in one or more forums for communications with their cousins. Taggers get access to research knowledge captured in the Wiki.
Splicers
These special members are our system administrators. They determine which users are valid and set them up with the proper access. They maintain the software and overall system to make sure the content and behavior is as expected and within norms. They make available additional features and capabilities in the site; including possibly allowing a new branch in the genealogy database to be started.
