Mostly because the descendants from Harvey Dennis and Rebecca Jane Moore are so numerous that autosomal DNA tests return dozens of close matches to this line; and hundreds of others. While their children are evident and stable, their siblings and grandparents are still very much in flux. So a place for all to document and exchange the findings.

Early years in Roane County, Tennessee

Best we know, Harvey and Rebecca were born, raised and married in rural Roane County Tennessee . By 1947, with three kids in the family already, they move to Pleasant Township, Illinois where they will remain the rest of their lives.

Autosomal DNA matching

Because of the large, stable family, we are seeing large numbers of Autosomal DNA matching due to this family. Not only their descendants but also from their grandparents descendants. Due to the sweat-spot of their time in history (for DNA matching today), we are starting a more formal autosomal study of these lines to better identify the grandparents.
