Most were found among a large collection of tapes in Bob Kastelic's home. Two of the tapes are supplied by Lillian Aubert. One from Bob seems to be from Joe Legan (interview of Franca Legan).
Most tapes were in pretty poor shape. Thanks to AtoZaudio in Cleveland for the care to recover these "lost" works. Involved re-tensioning, putting into new cases, splicing, cleaning the tape itself, flattening tape that had been twisted and wound around capstans, duplicating masters, and so on. All the originals (or repaired originals) are back with the owners. A master copy of each tape was made and then converted to MP3.
