Highland Park Cemetery

21400 Chagrin Blvd, Cleveland, Ohio 44122 (1950-current)

Holy Cross Cemetery was established in 1904 by the City of Cleveland to serve the East side at what was then way out in the country from the growing metropolis. It is part of a larger land area that includes the Highland Park Golf Course as well. Highland Park is the largest cemetery (134,000+ graves, 160 acres) owned and managed by the city.

Section and Plot Maps

Highland Park has 34 sections over the 160 acres of land. Amazingly, the office claims that there are no plot maps per section. So you are on your own trying to figure out how to find a grave. This is especially critical in older sections as the practice of putting a plot number on a gravestone is only a recent one.
Insert overall Section Map here. If possible, make it a GIF map with links to the plot maps.

Many sections have sub-section designations; often referred to as Lots with either alphabetical or numerical designation of the lots. As mentioned, there are no plot maps that we know of.
