Jacob was Anna's second husband as Josef Košak (Sr) died in a workplace accident in 1912. Anna remarried as she had a houseful of children to look after. Jacob was Josef's boss at the rail yard. Anna and Jacob had three daughters before he also died in an eerily similar industrial accident in 1925. Anna passed away shortly after leaving all the kids in the care of her oldest son Joseph and her siblings living nearby (Mary Jeric and John Rogelj).
